Pascal, Modula-2, Oberon
Pascal is a programming language based on Algol, a successful high-level programming language defined in the sixties. Pascal was developed by Nicklaus Wirth in the seventies. It has influenced many other programming languages, from Ada to Visual Basic. Modula-2 was the successor. It added modules to the language. Oberon, again initiated by Wirth, added object-oriented features to the language. Check out the sites below for Java/Pascal/Modula-2/Oberon.
