Translators
The following links are all about trying to convert from C/++ to Java and vice versa. The reason why you might do this is for optimization purposes or if there is no Java platform around on a machine or embedded system. I never tried any of these out, but I suspect they can work well up to a certain level. Once you start dealing with things like multithreading and advanced Swing classes, they would have to be darn good to make a decent conversion.
