Basic/Visual Basic
BASIC stands for Beginner's All-Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code and has been around since the 1960s. A version of BASIC was Microsoft's first product sold. They released BASICA, QuickBasic, PDS Basic and finally Visual Basic. The links below include BASIC interpreters written in Java, conversion utilities from VB to Java and products that allow you to read Java classes through the COM interface.
