How do I launch the default browser?

Check out the BrowserLauncher
package that works cross-platform.

Only for Windows:
If you're using Visual J++, you can look at the com.ms.ie.InternetExplorer to launch
IE or use skyLib-WFC from Skynamics that uses Shell32.dll to execute the default browser.
