How do I set the CLASSPATH at runtime?

On windows:

SET CLASSPATH=c:\java\myapp

On unix:

export CLASSPATH=//java/myapp

You can add multiple directories to path using ; on windows and : on unix. For example:

On windows:

SET CLASSPATH=c:\java\myapp;c:\java\appletstuff\applet1\

On unix:

export CLASSPATH=//java/myapp://java/appletstuff/applet1/
