Accessibility (javax.accessibility.*)

Not many companies make their apps or website accessible to people with disabilities . Not only can the American Department of Justice enforce the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) but it can also increase revenue by millions of dollars by allowing more people to use their applications. In Java 2, assistive technologies like screen readers, speech recognition and screen magnification can have access to a program's user interface through the Java Accessibility API. To get a taste of how Java Accessibility works internally, run ferret. To do this, you need to download the accessibility utilities.
